AmeriCorps Project CHANGE hosted its first ever ZOOM member meeting today- I could not get my screen to expand to see everyone, but finally got it right- and the members are doing amazing service even at a distance, but one story stood out- a cautionary tale-
One Member- loves soccer, Dad works in Health Care, was getting cabin fever and yesterday started out the door to play soccer and his Dad was coming in the door at the same time and said, “What do you think you are doing?” “Out to have a kick”-His Dad was pretty concise- He said “You go out that door and you are not coming back.” The chance of infection is THAT serious, he said.
